What’s a Home Theater? A home theater set up simply consists of any space with any 16:9 TV or projector paired with whatever type of electronic and speaker systems providing at least simple 5.1 surround sound (L,C,R,LS,RS,subwoofer). Watch anything that’s in wide format, you get black bars across the top and bottom.
What’s a Home Cinema? The hallmark of a home cinema is that its display is in a wide format, typically 2.4:1 or wider, hence NO BLACK BARS like the Director’s intended. This can be accomplished with either projection or Video Wall. For the best audio experience we recommend doing a minimum of 5.1.4, the “.4” delivering the basic left to right, front to rear ATMOS that adds audio depth and reality to your visual experience.
